Senior Business Solutions Analyst - Fixed Income eTrading

Location: London

Contract Type: Inside IR35

Daily Rate: £800

Role Overview: We are seeking a hybrid Senior Business Solutions Analyst/Project Coordinator to become a vital part of our front office trading division. This position entails evaluating front office challenges and feature enhancements, implementing changes into production, and supervising the outcomes. You will address a variety of issues, leveraging your analytical, project management, and practical implementation expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis across all segments of the Front Office and business lines.
  • Create technical diagrams, interface specifications, business process workflows, and other essential documentation.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders, including trading, sales, and COO functions.
  • Execute changes directly whenever feasible.

Project Coordination:

  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently with effective time management and communication skills.
  • Lead initiatives involving diverse teams, including developers, other analysts, project managers, outsourced vendors, and testers.
  • Provide technical direction and project ownership.
  • Communicate project status to all levels of the organization and IT.

Required Experience:

  • *Experience in Fixed Income eTrading as a Business Analyst*
  • Demonstrated success in delivering Front Office solutions in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing Front Office projects and engaging directly with business stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of STP, affirmation, and clearing workflows.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Proven experience with complete project life cycles in investment banking.
  • Familiarity with enterprise delivery and productivity tools such as middleware, data services, Confluence, Jira, and Bamboo.

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

  • Vendor expertise: ION Trading platform, MarkitWire, various eTrading platforms.
  • Product knowledge: Vanilla bonds, futures, IRS, repos.
  • Proficiency in Visio.
  • Business knowledge of Exotics & Options products (preferred).
  • Murex knowledge (preferred).

This role offers a hybrid working model with a blend of in-office and remote work.

Initial contract duration is for six months, with the potential for extensions due to the large-scale nature of the project.
