We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our Independence Hub team at HSDC. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality academic learning support to learners with severe and complex additional learning needs.

Our Independence Hub is a brand-new custom-built facility designed to enable young people with severe and complex needs to progress into meaningful adult lives. We are committed to providing an outstanding learner experience and are seeking a team member who shares our passion for education and supporting young people with SEND.

The successful candidate will have experience of education to at least level 3, a learning support or similar qualification, and a strong understanding of factors that create barriers to learning and strategies to overcome these. You will also have knowledge and/or experience of severe and complex disabilities and learning difficulties and strategies to support these.
