Customer Service Representative

Imperial Consulting is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional face-to-face customer service while driving sales of utility services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide face-to-face customer service, meeting customers in retail locations, at promotional stands, and during events. Guide customers through their options for utility services, including energy, gas, and broadband packages.
  • Utility Solutions: Understand customer needs and offer tailored utility solutions, explaining the benefits of switching to more efficient energy providers or upgrading their broadband. Help customers make informed decisions while focusing on closing sales.
  • Sales and Service: Drive sales while delivering exceptional service, ensuring every customer interaction results in a positive experience. Meet sales targets by understanding customer preferences and aligning them with the best solutions.
  • Promotional Activities: Assist with promotional activities, helping set up displays and engaging with potential customers to promote our utility partners' services.
  • Customer Inquiries: Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in person, offering advice on utility options and troubleshooting any issues they may have with their existing services.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales, ensuring all details are correctly captured and follow-up actions are taken as needed.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and products, making sure you're knowledgeable about the latest utility services, promotions, and regulations to provide customers with the most up-to-date advice.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams, providing feedback from your customer interactions to help improve our overall sales and service strategies.
Requirements:
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Must not have applied to Imperial Consulting in the past 30 days.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in delivering face-to-face customer service.
  • A passion for helping people and delivering excellent service while meeting sales goals.
  • Self-motivated, with a desire to learn and grow in a customer service and sales role.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in customer service, retail, or sales is beneficial but not essential as full training is provided.
