Overview

We are seeking dedicated Car Park Assistants to enhance our visitor experience.

In a vibrant environment, this role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service.

Working Hours: This position is hourly paid and fixed term. While we strive to maintain a consistent schedule, flexibility is necessary as adjustments may be required to meet operational needs. Weekend and holiday shifts are part of the role.

Compensation: £11.50 per hour

Contract Duration: Fixed term until 28 February 2025

Interview Process: Scheduled for the week commencing 2 September 2024

Work Environment

Petworth House and Park is undergoing exciting changes, and we are looking for innovative individuals to contribute. The team is focused on enhancing the visitor experience and showcasing our renowned collection of art and historical landscapes. If you possess creativity, energy, and ambition, this could be the ideal setting for you. You will report to the Welcome Manager and collaborate with a team of 16 staff members and 60 volunteers.



Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Welcoming and assisting visitors, providing directions for parking.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the car park and adjacent areas.
  • Offering courteous and informative service to enhance visitor satisfaction.
  • Addressing inquiries and ensuring visitors have the necessary information for their visit.
  • Promoting our initiatives and the positive impact of visitor contributions.

This role requires comfort in outdoor settings and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
