Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Catering Team Leader to become a vital part of our Facilities Division at NTW Solutions Limited.

This role is structured as Full Time, operating from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position is to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to both patients and staff.

You will oversee the activities of Service Assistants, ensuring the preparation and delivery of food services meet the required standards in terms of quality, quantity, presentation, and cost-effectiveness, while adhering to the Company's Food Hygiene Policy.

Compensation

Pay is set at Band B (£ per hour), with a 25% enhancement for hours worked on weekends.

Employment Terms

All positions will be filled under the terms and conditions of NTW Solutions Limited (not NHS/A4C terms).

If you are currently employed by NTW Solutions under AfC terms, you will have the option to retain these or transition to NTW Solutions terms. Please note that the advertised salary will not apply if you choose to remain in the NHS Pension scheme.

Candidate Profile

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make informed decisions confidently.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Professional telephone etiquette.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food preparation.
  • In-depth knowledge of food service operations.
  • Thorough understanding of hygiene and health and safety regulations.
  • Must meet the mobility requirements of the role.

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in various food service environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in a catering setting.
  • Familiarity with cashier duties and till operations.
  • Background in catering services.

Essential Qualifications

  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Recognized Catering Qualification such as NVQ Levels 1 and 2, with a commitment to achieving NVQ Level 3 supervisory qualification or equivalent.
