Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Site Director to join our team at MAC Clinical Research on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our site team and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical research studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and support to the site team, conducting annual Personal Development Plans (PDPs) and identifying training and development needs.
  • Operational Management: Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures and Policies are adhered to at site level, and that financial processes are followed as defined in the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Patient Recruitment: Participate in patient recruitment strategy discussions to optimize local site recruitment and maximize clinic utilization.
  • Team Development: Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Considerable proven experience in clinical research, including line management experience and a clinical or research background.
  • Skills: Excellent managerial skills, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in a field such as nursing, medicine, or research coordination.
