Job Summary:
MAC Clinical Research is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Clinical Research Site Director to lead our team in Merseyside. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clinical research site, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the site team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize patient recruitment and retention, maximizing clinic utilization and ensuring financial processes are adhered to.
- Collaborate with senior management to participate in the development of organizational strategy and contribute to the growth and success of MAC Clinical Research.
- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures and Policies are adhered to at site level, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Participate in patient recruitment strategy discussions, working closely with the site team to optimize local site recruitment and maximize clinic utilization.
- Provide leadership and support to the site team, conducting annual Personal Development Plans (PDPs) and identifying and supporting the training and development needs of individual members of staff.
Requirements:
- Considerable proven experience in clinical research, with a strong background in leadership and management.
- Previous line management experience, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
- Clinical/Research background, with a strong understanding of clinical research principles and practices.
- Demonstrate authority and maturity in discussions with medical professionals, sponsors, staff, and senior management.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
