About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Collection Manager to join our team at the British Museum. As a key member of our collections team, you will play a vital role in the acquisition, cataloging, and conservation of our vast collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the acquisition and cataloging of new collections, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records are maintained.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of collections management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with curators and other stakeholders to ensure the effective management of collections.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for staff and volunteers.
