Job Title: Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Aspiring Educational Psychologists to join our team at EDEX. As a Psychology Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for Aspiring Educational Psychologists to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a real-world setting. You will work closely with our team to support pupils with a wide range of needs, including Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L, and SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis, providing a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Liaise with Class Teachers and the SENDCO to ensure the progress of children is monitored and supported.
  • Deliver specialist interventions to meet the individual needs of pupils.
  • Work closely with our therapists to provide a comprehensive support package.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Requirements:
  • Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate with a strong academic background.
  • Childcare related experience, particularly with a SEN focus, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, staff, and parents.
  • Resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic, and adaptable, with a strong commitment to supporting children with SEN.
