Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Educational Psychologist to join our team in Croydon Council. As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of children and young people in our local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide expert advice on educational and psychological matters
  • Develop and implement strategies to support children and young people with special educational needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote positive outcomes for children and young people
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to educational psychology
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An honours degree in psychology, recognised by the British Psychological Society
  • A recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to working in partnership with schools and other agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and young people
