We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate to join our team at EDEX. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a desire to develop their skills and knowledge in this field.

Job Summary:

  • Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis, including those with Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L, and SEMH.
  • Liaise with Class Teachers and the SENDCO to ensure the progress of children is monitored and supported.
  • Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Deliver specialist interventions to support children's learning and development.
  • Liaise with the school's therapists to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children's needs.

Person Specification:

  • Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate with a strong passion for supporting children with SEN.
  • Childcare-related experience, particularly with a SEN focus, is ideal.
  • Must be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic, and adaptable.
  • A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements.
  • Experience of supporting children with SEN, including Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L, is ideal.
  • Future career ambitions to become an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Therapist, or Well-Being Practitioner.
