Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at MAHLE's Engine Systems manufacturing business in Kilmarnock. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical support and ensuring that materials manufacturing processes are implemented and maintained in line with our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to ensure the successful implementation of materials manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and procedures
  • Conduct process audits and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with market-leading technologies and developments in materials manufacturing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a materials manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Knowledge of material manufacturing processes, including rolling, annealing, and machining
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks 3D CAD software
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
