Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, resolving technical issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply problem-solving approaches to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation to support organizational process delivery
  • Define requirements to support project delivery and ensure successful implementation
  • Develop meta-skills and personal practice to enhance technical expertise
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Assist in the development of technical support materials and resources
  • Support the management of digital technology assets and ensure their optimal performance

Required Skills

  • Clear and effective communication and ability to show empathy to clients
  • Collaboration skills and team working is vital

Training and Development

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and mentor at work. They will ensure you settle in, develop the skills you need to be successful in your job role, and pass your assessments. You will receive one-to-one support and guidance throughout your learning journey.

Qualifications

On completion, you will gain a nationally recognized qualification at SCQF Level 6, in addition to valuable work experience.
