Position Overview
NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is in search of a dedicated and proactive Registered Nurse with a Specialist Practitioner qualification to join the Integrated Care Team as a Band 7 Community Nursing Team Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following essential competencies:

- Non-medical or community Nursing Prescribing qualifications
The individual in this role will be accountable for delivering safe and effective care to a designated caseload of patients, ensuring professional and legal accountability.
Additionally, the role involves overseeing a team of Community Nurses and Health Care Support Workers, including staff supervision and performance appraisals.
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
The candidate must possess a valid UK driving licence.
Main Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be a Registered Nurse, ideally with a Specialist Practitioner qualification and experience in community settings. Responsibilities include managing a locality caseload of patients, assessing, planning, and delivering care while maintaining professional and legal accountability.
The individual will support colleagues and locality leads, contributing effectively as a team member while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. Supervision of staff and students will be part of the role.
About NELFT
Onboarding Process NELFT prioritizes a comprehensive onboarding experience for new employees. All new hires will participate in an extensive induction program that includes mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation. New employees will also have opportunities to engage with senior management and attend sessions focused on health, wellbeing, and organizational processes.
Probationary Period This position is subject to a probationary period, with internal applicants exempt unless currently undergoing a probationary period or employed as bank staff.
High Cost Area Supplement This role includes a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary, with a minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata.
Certificates of Sponsorship While NELFT is a registered sponsor organization, sponsorship is not available for all job roles. Candidates should verify their eligibility under the UKVI points-based system.
