Immunisation Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Immunisation Nurse to join our team at European LifeCare Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality immunisation services to children in schools and community clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Vaccination Delivery: Administer vaccinations to children in schools and community clinics, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and excellent patient outcomes.
- Service Promotion: Promote and support the operation of our School Aged Immunisation Service, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
- Clinical Supervision: Participate in clinical supervision and performance management of staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Incident Reporting: Report, monitor, and process clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Audit and Quality Improvement: Participate in audits, making recommendations for improvement and sharing outcomes with the team.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, parents, caregivers, and colleagues, ensuring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience: Proven experience in immunisation services, with a strong understanding of the Routine National Immunisation schedule.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to the role.
- Driving Ability: Ability to drive (desirable).
