The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting qualified professionals, particularly in the welding and pipefitting sectors. This position involves developing a robust talent pipeline to support both permanent and project-based roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ a variety of sourcing methods and platforms to find suitable candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry connections.
  • Review resumes and conduct preliminary phone interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications and suitability for specific positions.
  • Arrange interviews with potential hires to assess their skills and experience.
  • Keep candidate information updated in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities.
  • Work closely with operations managers to comprehend staffing requirements and formulate effective recruitment strategies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with candidates to build a pool of qualified talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes to refine recruitment strategies and remain competitive in attracting top talent.
  • Provide management with regular updates on recruitment progress, including metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and effectiveness of sourcing channels.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Recruiter or in a similar capacity, with a focus on sourcing for welding, fabrication, pipefitting, and other skilled trades.
  • Understanding of recruitment techniques and best practices, especially within industrial and skilled trades sectors.
  • Familiarity with ATS and other recruitment software/tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability is essential.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

• Proven track record as a Recruiter or in a comparable role, particularly in hiring for welding and trades positions.
