The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a crucial role in identifying and securing skilled professionals, particularly in sectors that demand expertise in welding and pipefitting. Your efforts will contribute to building a robust talent pipeline for both ongoing and future project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ a variety of sourcing methods and platforms to attract candidates, including online job boards, social media, networking functions, and industry connections.
- Review resumes and conduct preliminary phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications and suitability for specific positions.
- Facilitate interviews with prospective candidates to assess their skills and experience.
- Keep candidate records updated in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain accurate documentation of all recruitment activities.
- Work closely with operations managers to grasp staffing requirements and devise effective recruitment strategies.
- Establish and nurture relationships with candidates to develop a pool of qualified talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes to refine recruitment strategies and remain competitive in attracting top-tier talent.
- Provide regular reports to management regarding recruitment progress, including metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and effectiveness of sourcing channels.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience as a Recruiter or in a comparable role, with a focus on sourcing for welding, fabrication, pipefitting, and other skilled trades.
- Understanding of recruitment methodologies and best practices, especially within industrial and skilled trades sectors.
- Proficiency with ATS and other recruitment software/tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building rapport and trust with candidates and hiring managers.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability is essential.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
• Proven track record as a Recruiter or in a similar capacity, particularly in sourcing for welding and trades roles.
