About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Safety Surveyor to join our Property and Compliance Works team at the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.

This is a challenging role that requires a confident fire safety professional with a minimum of five years' experience in the required disciplines.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant technical professional qualification, such as full membership to the IFE or IFSM, and a NEBOSH fire safety certificate FC1/FC2 or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a team of risk assessors and external consultants to provide fire safety surveying expertise across the Council's portfolio of 17,000 properties.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure that all fire risk activities are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Meet the needs of our residents by providing excellent fire safety services.
Requirements
  • HND/C fire safety management or fire engineering related qualification or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • NEBOSH fire safety certificate FC1/FC2 or similar qualifications.
  • Advanced Fire Safety and Fire Risk Assessment certificate.
  • Full professional membership to the IFE or similar relevant professional qualifications.
