Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
1. Collaborate with the Head Chef to design nutritious, flavorful, and well-rounded menus tailored to the preferences of our residents.
2. Foster a warm and inviting atmosphere within our kitchen and dining areas.
3. Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring continuity and quality.
4. Utilize fresh produce to create high-quality, wholesome dishes that meet our esteemed standards.
5. Conduct regular audits and maintain effective stock control.

Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you should possess:
- A personable demeanor with a genuine commitment to resident wellbeing.
- Relevant culinary qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent).
- A solid understanding of nutrition and dietary needs.
- Experience working with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles.
