As an Assistant Culinary Leader, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food service in a supportive environment, free from the stress of split shifts and extended hours.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the Head Chef in crafting nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced menus tailored to our residents' preferences.
- Managing the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Collaborating on menu development with a focus on fresh produce to deliver exceptional quality dishes.
- Creating a warm, efficient, and enjoyable atmosphere for both staff and residents.
- Ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and conducting regular audits.
- Overseeing stock control and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent.
- A solid understanding of nutrition and experience with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

- Knowledge of HACCP protocols.
