The AMS division is seeking a seasoned HCM consultant to serve as an AMS Functional Lead Consultant specializing in Advanced Compensation. Familiarity with other modules, such as Core Compensation, along with a solid understanding of Compensation principles and their interconnections, will be advantageous.
You will possess extensive knowledge of Workday's functionalities, configurations, testing methodologies, and best practices relevant to your areas of expertise. Your ability to navigate dependencies, cross-functional implications, and maintenance considerations will be crucial in guiding clients on effective testing strategies.
Your role will involve proactively gathering intricate requirements, comprehending the HR scenarios that underpin Workday functionalities, and assimilating clients' internal workflows. Strong analytical skills will enable you to devise innovative solutions to complex challenges. You will demonstrate a keen interest in researching and formulating answers to intricate Workday-related issues.
Building robust relationships with clients will be essential, as will managing competing priorities across various clients. You will be expected to set realistic timelines and deliverables with clients, ensuring projects progress toward timely completion.
Furthermore, you will have the capacity to offer unsolicited yet relevant suggestions for enhancing configurations and improving the overall user experience within Workday. Leading junior team members and imparting best practices in approaches, requirement gathering, and configuration will also be part of your responsibilities.
Your passion for process enhancement will support your team in initiatives aimed at refining internal processes and client interactions. Strong communication skills and the motivation to collaborate with others will be key to gaining support for these initiatives.
As a leader, you will guide your team in meeting our consulting standards and serve as a role model for less experienced consultants.
Qualifications
- Workday certification in Advanced Compensation
- Additional certification is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of configuration experience in Advanced Compensation
- Completion of 5+ end-to-end HCM suite implementations delivered via Launch or Your Way; or at least 4 years of experience in a post-deployment environment
- Beneficial experience (not mandatory): Estimating and scoping, experience in a client-side Compensation role, client-side Workday implementation experience
