Clearfield Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Head of Asset Management to lead their facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hard facilities management, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Develop, implement, and manage PPM schedules to ensure all assets are maintained in line with best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including water hygiene, asbestos management, and other statutory obligations.
  • Contractor Management: Oversee the performance of external contractors, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard and within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of the facilities management team.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality or compliance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to Hard FM and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of water hygiene, asbestos management, and other key compliance areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, driving performance and achieving targets.
  • Strong contractor management skills with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
  • Relevant qualifications in facilities management, engineering, or a related field are desirable.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification is an advantage.
