Head of Asset Management Job Description

Opus People Solutions is seeking a seasoned professional to lead their Hard Facilities Management (Hard FM) team in Ipswich. As a key member of the Property and Design consultancy, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Hard FM, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Develop, implement, and manage PPM schedules to ensure all assets are maintained in line with best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including water hygiene, asbestos management, and other statutory obligations.
  • Contractor Management: Oversee the performance of external contractors, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard and within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality or compliance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to Hard FM and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful collaboration.
