Halmer Recruit is seeking an experienced Trading Underwriter to join their growing team in Bristol. As a Trading Underwriter, you will be responsible for dealing with business partners on all aspects of their account, providing a bespoke service and underwriting standard products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure department KPIs and SLAs are met
  • Engage with business partners to ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Apply technical knowledge and expertise to decision making
  • Identify underwriting issues negatively impacting business partners and work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve them
  • Occasionally demonstrate flexibility in working hours and spend time away from the office

Requirements:

  • Experience in trading underwriting or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
