About SIRA:

StepStone Infrastructure & Real Assets (SIRA) is a dedicated global team that supports institutional investors at all stages of their infrastructure and real assets investment strategies. This includes both new and existing investments in sectors such as infrastructure, timber, agriculture, and energy. Our investment professionals possess extensive experience in infrastructure and real assets, with teams located in Canada, the US, UK, and Australia.

Position Summary:

The Analyst role within StepStone Infrastructure & Real Assets involves providing analytical, modeling, and transactional support to both local and international teams. This position is crucial in advising clients on investments in infrastructure and related real asset sectors on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including the ability to create and modify complex financial models, analyze financial statements and forecasts, prepare valuation analyses, conduct discounted cash flow assessments, and perform comparable company analyses.
  • Exhibit proficiency in memo and presentation writing, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications.
  • Conduct thorough research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities and sectors, encompassing primary funds, secondaries, co-investments, and direct investments.
  • Articulate investment rationale effectively, both verbally and in written formats, and defend positions during team discussions, including Investment Committee meetings.
  • Engage with clients effectively, preparing advisory materials as necessary.
  • Assist senior team members in sourcing and managing incoming investment opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, project finance, professional services, investment management, or related fields.
  • A Bachelor's degree or MBA (or higher) in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Engineering, or Economics.
