Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of young children, fostering their social and emotional development, and creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the requirements of the EYFS curriculum, promoting a love for learning and academic excellence.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional growth, and provides individualized support to meet their unique needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, assess and monitor students' progress, and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behavior, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a strong partnership between home and school.

Requirements

  • QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and a strong academic record.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.
