The Little Kew Nursery is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team in providing high-quality childcare and education to children. As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining an 'Outstanding' level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of children and align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Lead and manage a team of early years professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
- Conduct regular self-reviews and evaluations to ensure the nursery is meeting its goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and collaborative experience.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure the nursery operates efficiently and effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and best practices in early years education.
Requirements:
- Qualification: NVQ L3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree or QTS or above.
- Previous experience in a nursery management role, preferably with experience of Ofsted inspections.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
