About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Assistant to join our team at Bright Horizons Englefield Green Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our experienced team to deliver a stimulating and engaging learning environment for children aged 0-5.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for all.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of activities, resources, and routines that promote children's learning and development.
  • Support the nursery's commitment to providing a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early years education.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies and procedures.
