Job Summary

We are seeking a resilient and resourceful Support Worker Assistant to join our team at Two Saints. As a key member of our Youth Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 16-21 who are care leavers and looked after children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support young people with their individual needs to enable them to gain life skills and move on to lower or independent supported living.
  • Work closely with the team to monitor several caseloads and adapt to priorities as needed.
  • Provide patient and robust support to young people, listening to their needs and being their voice when required.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement innovative approaches to support young people in achieving their goals.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the benefits system and tenancy legislation.
  • A positive and flexible attitude with a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to remain calm in potentially difficult situations and find resolutions.
  • A commitment to working with young people and supporting them to achieve their goals.
