Job Title: Deputy Head of Payroll and Pensions Management
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Head of Payroll and Pensions Management to join our team at JGA Recruitment Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the complex payroll function and providing specialist advice on payroll systems, procedures, and pensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the payroll department, ensuring effective procedures and policies are in place.
- Grow commercial payroll activity and develop strategies to improve efficiency.
- Provide specialist advice on payroll systems, procedures, and pensions to stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Finance Team and other Client management teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Manage and develop a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the payroll function.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in NHS payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll systems and procedures.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
