A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Payroll and Pension Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a critical role for the organization and will require the successful candidate to provide strong support to the Head of Payroll and Pensions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee a large monthly payroll of over 15,000+ employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  2. Deliver a full start-to-finish payroll process using ESR software, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  3. Ensure all statutory deductions are made accurately and on time, and submitted to the relevant authorities.
  4. Manage all year-end processes, including P11Ds, to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  5. Support the Head of Payroll and Pensions in the management of a large payroll team, providing guidance and training as needed.
  6. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the payroll team.
  7. Recruit and onboard new hires to the payroll team, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations.
  8. Lead payroll projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective implementation.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have experience working in the healthcare sector and have used the ESR payroll software.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive business results.
