Payroll and Pensions Executive Role

Portfolio Payroll is seeking an experienced Payroll and Pensions Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Processing: Process monthly payrolls for high volume employees from start to finish, including BACS payments, EPS, and FPS.
  2. Pensions Administration: Manage the Company Pension Scheme and all pensions administration, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  3. Data Collation and Checking: Collate and check data from multiple sites across the UK, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  4. Reporting and Reconciliation: Support the monthly reporting process, producing weekly/monthly payroll journals and reconciliations.
  5. Escalated Discrepancies: Deal with escalated discrepancies and queries relating to payroll and resolve accordingly.
Requirements
  1. Payroll Experience: Strong experience in payroll processing from start to finish, including BACS payments and FPS.
  2. Pensions Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of pensions schemes and auto-enrolment.
  3. Payroll Legislation: Up-to-date knowledge of current payroll legislation.
  4. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with all MS Office programmes.
