The Client
Our client is a leading Global Logistics provider that operates in 170 countries, offering a range of services including urgent shipment, airfreight, and cross-border services.
The Role
The Executive Vice President will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and direction to the board to ensure that our client achieves its financial vision, mission, and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing strategic plans and company policies to drive organizational success and achieve strategic business objectives.
- Maintaining an open dialogue with stakeholders, including clients, employees, and partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Leading and managing a team of professionals to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
- Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Managing budgets and financial resources to ensure effective use of company funds.
- Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure business continuity and success.
Requirements
- A strong track record of business development, operational, financial, and sales leadership within the Domestic & International courier sector.
- Strong operational leadership with demonstrated history of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Ability to implement a strategy and devise a local footprint to drive business growth.
- Strong operational experience within the industry, with a deep understanding of market analysis and metrics.
- Commercially astute with experience in managing a P&L and making informed business decisions.
- Experience in Client Relationship Management and building strong relationships with clients.
- In-depth knowledge of urgent shipment, airfreight, and cross-border services.
- Previous history of client networks and strong relationships, especially within the retail business.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Hands-on experience in creating reporting and managing budgets.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and possibly Europe, as required.

Executive Package OTE: £220k
Base: To £180k
