Job Description

Orbit Communications, a leading integrated communications agency, is seeking an experienced and driven Strategic Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to contribute to a success story and is not afraid to take a hands-on approach to accomplish tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships, ensuring they receive structured and strategic communications advice and support.
  • Communication Strategy Planning: Work in close consultation with clients to plan and implement communication strategies on their behalf.
  • Public Affairs: Coordinate public consultation events, prepare and undertake stakeholder engagement programmes, and prepare public affairs documents.
  • Media and Policy Monitoring: Daily media and political monitoring and background research on clients' behalf.
  • Business Development: Identify and lead new client pitches and tenders, and draft public affairs strategies, policy briefings, and statutory documents.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in public relations
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Edinburgh
