Role Summary: The Technical Solutions Consultant is essential in showcasing Dahua's premium offerings, solutions, and services. This role involves collaboration with various internal teams such as Technology, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external stakeholders including distributors, system integrators, installers, end-users, and other clients, to enhance Dahua's business performance and reputation while ensuring sustainable growth.

Core Responsibilities:

  • The Technical Solutions Consultant is tasked with the following key responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical guidance and support on all facets of video surveillance technology for sales personnel and clients, addressing technical inquiries, collaborating with R&D for troubleshooting, and integrating with third-party systems, including VMS and CCTV hardware.
  • Foster strong relationships with distributors, system integrators, and installers, actively seeking their insights on our offerings.
  • Ensure effective communication with the headquarters regarding new product developments and technical matters.
  • Conduct site assessments, provide customer training and demonstrations, support projects, and promote products in the market; assist in pre-sales activities, including introducing new product features to channel partners, aiding customers in product selection, and collaborating with sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in video surveillance equipment.
  • Deliver product training to technical staff of our channel partners, enhancing their technical expertise.
  • Consolidate market demand, gather product feedback, and relay this information to the product department for enhancements and planning.
  • Support project initiatives, including assisting clients in preparing tender documents and creating project proposals that meet required standards.
  • Engage in brand promotion, working alongside the Dahua Marketing Team to develop promotional materials for clients to advance the company's business.
  • Participate in training sessions for new hires in the Technical Department to ensure they are well-acquainted with Dahua's products and solutions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a full, clean UK driving license;
  • Eligibility to work in the UK;
  • Previous experience in a technical support capacity;
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities;
  • In-depth knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, door entry systems, video conferencing, VMS, cloud storage, video walls, audio/video matrix systems, networking, and industrial drone technologies.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure;
  • Quick learner of new technologies;
  • Positive demeanor;
  • Demonstrated initiative, honesty, and integrity.
