Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at ChatterBug Speech and Language Therapy Service. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children with communication disorders to develop their language skills and improve their overall communication abilities.
Job SummaryOur ideal candidate will have a strong background in Speech and Language Therapy, with experience working with children who have a range of communication disorders. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with communication disorders, as well as providing support and guidance to parents and carers.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose children with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills
- Provide support and guidance to parents and carers
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for children
- Conduct regular progress assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans
- Professional degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
- Current Professional Registration with HCPC (or awaiting confirmation for current students/NQPs)
- RCSLT Membership
- Experience working with children who have communication disorders
