Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our Midlands team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have a range of Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing support to children with SLCN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose children with SLCN, including complex needs
  • Develop and implement speech and language therapy treatment programs
  • Represent the service at health and education panels as required
  • Provide assessment and advice on optimizing the client's communicative environment
  • Collaborate with schools and families to develop strong communication provisions

Requirements

  • Professional Degree or equivalent in Speech & Language Therapy
  • Current Professional Registration with HCPC (or awaiting confirmation for current students/NQPs)
  • RCSLT Membership
  • Experience working within SLT services, supporting clients with a range of SLCN
