About the Role

ChatterBug Speech and Language Therapy Service is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children with Speech and Language Needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose children with a range of Speech and Language Needs, including complex needs.
  • Develop and implement effective speech and language therapy treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs of each child.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure that children receive the best possible support.
  • Represent the service at health and education panels, as required.
  • Contribute to the development of the service, including participating in research and audit projects.

Requirements

  • Professional Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Current Professional Registration with HCPC (or awaiting confirmation for current students/NQPs).
  • RCSLT Membership.
  • Experience of working with children with Speech and Language Needs, preferably in a variety of settings.
