About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd in Clacton. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to individuals, promoting independence and empowering them to achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with the Manager to supervise and manage the service, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
  • Allocate shifts, book training, and induct new colleagues, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Support with supervision, medication management, and financial assistance, ensuring individuals receive the best possible care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker.
  • A Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviors.
