About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our supported living service in Clacton, providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of our service users.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service, including allocation of shifts, training, and supervision.
  • Provide guidance and support to new colleagues, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting a sense of community and well-being among colleagues and service users.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker or in a similar role.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
