Your responsibilities will include the implementation and enhancement of corporate standards, leveraging insights from past experiences to improve future initiatives, and documenting exemplary practices. This is a remarkable opportunity to influence our energy strategy and sustainability efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers and operational teams
- Facilitate the divisional expert group focused on energy assets
- Conduct technical due diligence for strategic planning and evaluations (e.g., carbon reduction initiatives)
- Analyze energy markets and formulate strategies aligned with corporate sustainability objectives
- Assist in the development of business cases (energy expenses, etc.)
- Draft comprehensive specifications for tender documents
- Lead technical negotiations with suppliers, provide technological recommendations, support contract formulation, and ensure performance guarantees
- Oversee project execution, approve engineering documentation, and create training programs for operational teams
- Prepare and implement commissioning plans, track performance guarantee status, and ensure fulfillment of final acceptance criteria (FAC)
- Develop and maintain energy concept standards for new facilities, establish minimum performance benchmarks, and report on performance monthly
- Disseminate insights and best practices through Best Available Technology (BAT) documentation
About You:
- Demonstrated success in major energy projects, from negotiation to FAC
- Experience in project execution, preferably within the paper sector
- Extensive knowledge of energy and technology in large organizations and around power facilities
- Technical degree or relevant qualifications
- Proven ability to drive results under pressure
