Job Overview:
Aspire Training Team is seeking a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice at Busy Bee Preschool, The Scout Hut.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key person to a small group of children, supported by senior members of the team.
- Implement the daily routine, set up activities for children, and ensure a safe and engaging environment.
- Prepare snacks and lunches, perform nappy changes, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Contribute to planning and preparation of activities, ensuring alignment with the preschool's goals and objectives.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Liaise with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and activities.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Requirements:
- Desirable: Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- Must be able to obtain a clear DBS
- GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent (functional skills)
Working Hours:
- Term-time only setting
- Monday to Friday, 08:45am - 15:00pm
- 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00am - 15:00pm
