About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated People Operations Officer to join our team at the Royal Air Force. As a key member of our personnel team, you will play a critical role in supporting the RAF's mission by providing HR, welfare, and morale support to our servicemen and women and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to servicemen and women and their families
  • Oversee construction and maintenance on RAF stations
  • Lead and manage essential support services on bases and operations around the world
  • Manage media operations, including liaison with journalists in the UK and overseas
Requirements
  • A minimum of 17.5 years old and a maximum of 47 years old (must attest before 48th birthday)
  • A citizen of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland, holder of dual UK/other nationality, or have been a Commonwealth citizen since birth
  • Commit to a minimum of 12 years' service
  • Meet the fitness and health criteria
  • Pass a fitness test
Training and Development

You will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to equip you for your role, including initial officer training and specialist training in People Operations. You will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills through a series of residential and distance-learning courses.
