Job Title: People Partner

Admiral Insurance Plc is seeking a highly skilled People Partner to join our growing People Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic support to our business areas, driving impactful change, and ensuring the delivery of our commercial business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop strategic People Plans aligned to the business and corporate strategic priorities.
  • Work with the People Partnering network & People Services Centres of Excellence to ensure an integrated and joined-up approach of activity in support of our business areas.
  • Provide expert consultancy to support/accelerate the achievement of business plans & objectives through defining and remedying people-related challenges, risks, barriers, and gaps.
  • Continuously improve and develop own skills and capability, and support stakeholders to develop and implement performance management strategies.
  • Support our business areas to help drive improvement in employee engagement that has a positive impact on morale, retention, productivity, and the Great Places to Work results.
Requirements:
  • Generalist HR Experience in a demanding fast-paced generalist role.
  • Working knowledge of Employment Law and of current HR best practice, trends, and changes.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing projects, change initiatives, and as a change champion.
  • Proven ability to develop and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting management with employee engagement initiatives.
  • People management, including coaching and developing others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrates Admiral's values, treating colleagues equally and fairly with kindness and respect.
  • Proactive and emotionally resilient.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Emotionally intelligent, adapts communication style to the audience to achieve the best outcome.
  • Remain tactful and diplomatic whilst asking effective questions to establish information and fact.
  • Confidently make decisions and objectively justify them.
  • Confident in working independently but skilled at collaboration to deliver results.
