IT Support Specialist

Coinford Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff and site operations teams.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support for desktop, laptop, and tablet platforms, as well as application software, desk phones, and mobile devices.
- Help Desk Operations: Respond to and log helpdesk tickets, provide fixes for hardware and software applications, and troubleshoot a range of software and hardware issues.
- Configuration and Maintenance: Configure laptops, printers, mobile phones, and desktops, as well as maintain IT stock and dispose of old or redundant equipment in accordance with WEEE regulations.
- Administrative Tasks: Raise purchase orders and process invoices for IT equipment and software, manage equipment asset records, and perform ad-hoc IT administration tasks.
- Site Support: Provide support visits to site as directed by the IT Infrastructure & Services Manager or Head of IT.
- Technical Knowledge: An understanding of IT hardware and operating software, as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to adhere to company procedures and deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work both alone and in a team.
- Professional Qualifications: A valid driver's license is required for this role, and desirable qualifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, and Microsoft MTA.
This is a full-time, office-based position, and you must be located within a commutable distance. A professional attitude and strong work ethic are essential for this role.
