Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Coinford Ltd IT team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Primary Duties:

  • Technical Support: Respond to and resolve IT-related issues in a timely and professional manner, providing expert assistance with desktop, laptop, and tablet hardware and software applications.
  • First-Line Support: Provide primary technical support for office-based staff and site-based users, troubleshooting and resolving issues with software and hardware.
  • Escalation and Resolution: Triage and prioritize tickets, escalating complex issues to 3rd-line support as necessary, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Hardware and Software Configuration: Configure laptops, printers, mobile phones, and desktops, ensuring all equipment is properly set up and functioning as expected.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and software, processing invoices and raising purchase orders as required.
  • Ad-Hoc IT Administration: Perform various IT-related tasks, including ordering and managing IT stock, disposing of redundant equipment, and supporting site visits as needed.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT hardware and operating software, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Professional Attitude: A professional attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+
  • Network+
  • Microsoft MTA
