Position Overview

As the Manager of Student Engagement and Marketing, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the diverse needs of our student population. Your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Formulate a customized marketing plan that addresses the unique requirements of various student groups within the College/School.
  • Participation Growth: Design initiatives aimed at enhancing participation in key areas, including activity programs, culinary experiences, and educational events, by collaborating with students, parents, and educators to gather valuable insights.
  • Event Delivery: Oversee the implementation of food concepts, pop-up events, and educational partnerships to optimize engagement and satisfaction.
  • Event Maximization: Coordinate activities around significant events such as Open Days, Applicant Days, and graduations to ensure maximum visibility and participation.
  • Communication Strategy: Develop and execute a robust communication and engagement strategy that supports the marketing plan, ensuring continuous interaction with students and staff.
  • Digital Engagement: Manage social media and digital communication efforts to enhance outreach.
  • Feedback Mechanisms: Establish forums and focus groups to gather feedback and insights from students and staff.
  • Menu Launch Events: Organize core menu and hospitality launch events to promote new offerings.
  • Satisfaction Surveys: Conduct surveys to assess student and staff satisfaction and gather actionable feedback.
  • Ambassador Program: Cultivate relationships with Student Ambassadors and societies, including international student groups and internship programs.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide monthly reports to stakeholders on marketing initiatives and their effectiveness.
  • Success Measurement: Develop and implement metrics to evaluate the success of marketing activities, focusing on KPIs such as sales performance, customer satisfaction, and return on investment.
