Legal and Commercial Support Specialist

ROLE OBJECTIVE
The Legal and Commercial Support Specialist is essential in enhancing the commercial functions at Penta Consulting by providing assistance in various areas related to sales, procurement, agreements, and overall business growth. The primary objective is to ensure the efficient operation of commercial activities under the guidance of the Group Head of Legal & Commercial.

External – Clients and suppliers of Penta Consulting
Internal – Sales and Contracts teams
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Group Head of Legal & Commercial with all contractual and administrative tasks.
- Manage and oversee partner procurement processes by onboarding and regularly reviewing approved partners
- Communicate with partner suppliers to ensure compliance and service delivery
- Assist in the preparation, evaluation, and management of contracts and agreements
- Maintain databases of contracts and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
- Support in drafting amendments and renewals of contracts as required
- Engage in meetings and presentations with prospective clients or partners
- Provide general administrative assistance such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
- Maintain organized filing systems and document repositories
- Ensure CRM is updated with developments related to partners and clients
- Handle miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by the commercial management
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a contracts or commercial department (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity, ideally within legal, commercial, or contracts departments
- Familiarity with commercial processes, including sales, procurement, and contract management (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledgeable in CRM software
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of general contractual clauses and documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements
