ROLE OBJECTIVE

The Legal and Commercial Support Specialist is essential in enhancing the commercial functions at Penta Consulting by providing assistance in various areas related to sales, procurement, agreements, and overall business growth. The primary objective is to ensure the efficient operation of commercial tasks under the guidance of the Group Head of Legal & Commercial.

KEY COLLABORATORS

External – Clients and suppliers of Penta Consulting

Internal – Sales and Contracts teams

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Group Head of Legal & Commercial with all contractual and administrative obligations.

  • Manage and oversee partner procurement processes by onboarding and regularly reviewing approved partners
  • Communicate with partner suppliers to ensure compliance and service delivery
  • Assist in the drafting, evaluation, and management of contracts and agreements
  • Maintain databases of contracts and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
  • Support in the creation of contract amendments and renewals as required
  • Engage in meetings and presentations with prospective clients or partners
  • Provide general administrative assistance such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
  • Keep organized filing systems and document repositories
  • Ensure CRM is updated with partner and client developments
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned by the commercial management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a contracts or commercial department (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity, ideally within a legal, commercial, or contracts department
  • Familiarity with commercial processes, including sales, procurement, and contract management (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledgeable in CRM software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of general contractual clauses and documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements
