Experienced Pensions Administration Specialist

In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting the Administration team with the management of technical administration tasks and calculations within a defined Benefit Scheme.
Key Responsibilities
Execute calculations and handle correspondence for members, ensuring timely completion within service level agreements.Manage calculations and correspondence for high earners, adhering to legislative protections.Conduct quality assurance checks on colleague communications from a technical and regulatory standpoint.Update and reconcile worklists to ensure adherence to compliance standards.Review transfer cases to guarantee compliance with relevant regulations.Address email correspondence and oversee the management of team email accounts.Assist auditors with inquiries during the annual audit process.Perform and review complex member calculations, ensuring all calculation service level agreements are met.Evaluate complaint and historical pension transfer cases, authorizing daily payments.Support all processes aimed at maintaining compliance and reducing escalations and complaints.Provide assistance and testing for cyclic and key projects.Support the team in pursuing PMI examinations and take initiative to enhance processes and drive efficiency.Qualifications
Proven experience in DB Pension Scheme administration.Experience in either in-house or third-party settings.Background in administering technical benefit calculations.Current knowledge of UK Pensions legislation.Strong prioritization and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist others.Highly motivated and eager to learn.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Familiarity with UK Pension Schemes.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
